Fine Art Show & Sale

Fine Art Show & Sale:

The Fine Art Show & Sale is our premier juried art exhibition held at Hive on Main, featuring professional, amateur, and student artists across four categories: Oil/Acrylic, Watercolor, Drawings, and Mixed Media.

This year's show offers a unique presentation format, with each artist's work displayed as an individual collection, maximizing visual impact within a desingated space. Artists submitting five pieces will receive a dedicated 4 X 8 gallery space.

Entrance fees are set at $25 for professionals and $15 for amateurs and $10 for students. Returning artists are exempt from jury submissions, new artists are invited to apply by sending five images of their work via email. Artwork will be hung during the week prior to the festival and remain up through May 31st.

Chalk Art Contest

Chalk Art Contest:

The Chalk Art Contest is always a festival favorite and transforms Artisan Alley East into a vibrant street canvas with great community engagement. We welcome artists of all skill levels and experience.

The entry process is simple and includes festival swag, a chance for prize money, and regional recognition. Entry fees are just $10 per team and the location is Artisan Alley East, next to the new Chamber Building (formerly Christensen's) at 75 S. Main. This is a great location, right in the center of the festival, out of the wind, and partially shaded. Specific prize details will depend on artist participation, but as in all of our visual art exhibits, entry fees are always returned to the artists in the form of cash awards, you'll also receive some nice contest swag from local sponsors. Chalk spots are reserved on a first come first served basis and the good spots are limited.
